FUN WITH A FRIEND
On Tuesday, Lewis got to spend some time with a new friend, Miss Taylor Wilson. Taylor is right at 5 months old, 3 months older than our boy (Lewis turned 2 months old on Monday!). She is rolling a lot and very active. It gives us a lot to look forward to! Lewis enjoyed spending some time in her bouncy chair, which is by far his favorite thing right now. I enjoyed chatting with Taylor's mom, Sarah. It was a fun time!
In other news, we learned this week that coming in January will be a new friend that is actually a boy! Our friends Cortney and Laurie Basham got to view their little guy via ultrasound last week. Needless to say we are thrilled! We have definitely enjoyed all of Lewis' girlfriends, but we all know how important male companionship is. Congratulations Cortney and Laurie!

Lewis had a busy weekend. He got to spend time with both sets of grandparents, and a wide variety of other relatives (some he had met and some new ones)! Foxhole had a show up in Cincinnati on Saturday night, so it only made sense for all of us to head that way for some quality time with the fam.
Among the new relatives, Lewis got to meet aunt Leah and uncle Mike (my step-sister and her husband) and their two kids Will, 7, and Mallory, 3. Upon parting, Mallory said "Goodbye Lewis. I love you!" Lewis slept long enough on Saturday for the rest of us Reitmeyers to play two games of Ticket 2 Ride. If you'd like to play online, check it out at www.ticket2ridegame.com . It's pretty fun! Aunt Beth, coming all the way from Evanston, Illinois dominated the first game while grandpa Norm won the second.
On Sunday, we went to Shepherdsville where Lewis got to meet his great aunt Juanita and Uncle Bud. He also got to meet his great uncle Shirley and cousins Dean, Vicki and Brittany.
Here are some photos!!

MORE FRIENDS
Lewis has made more friends this week. He got to meet his mama's friends, the Morozovs. Heather and Val are back in the U.S. after living in Val's homeland, Belarus, for the better part of last year. They have a son who is almost 2 years old. Their visit was in honor of our friend Tasha's birthday. Little Val seemed most interested in our kitty (much to her surprise and joy). It was a fun reunion for us all. Lewis actually slept through most of it, but I caught him smiling after they left. He has been doing that more lately. Enjoy the pics!

FUN AT THE LAKE
Lewis got to go to Center Hill Lake this weekend to visit with part of his daddy's side of the family. He was too small to get out on his grandpa's boat, but he enjoyed getting to know everyone better. Here are some photos from the experience. Lewis enjoyed a nap near the water in the first picture. The second is him with his cousin Olivia. She seems to like him quite a bit! Justin and I enjoyed the visit and especially the good meat Aunt Jeanne picked out. Yum. :)

Lewis met his first Belarussian friend on Tuesday. Andrei Golubev was visiting from Minsk and got to meet up with the Shepherds in Cave City for lunch. Lewis was taken with Golubev's accent. Golubev was amazed at Lewis' good looks. It was a joyful meeting for all. They were joined by Shelley's parents (Norm and Martha Reitmeyer).
